Introduction&
Sometime* back* we* discussed* about* how* we* can* create* a* info* set* query.* (Please* refer* this* link* to* go*
through*it)*Queries*are*not*transportable*from*the*development*system*to*any*other*client.*Therefore*
we* need* to* use* export* and* import* method* for* that* purpose.* This* is* same* with* LSMW* as* well* (Please*
refer*this*link*to*read*on*that)*

Lets*see*how*we*can*import*and*export*a*query*from*one*client*to*the*other.*

Find&the&info&set&from&the&Query&
First*you*need*to*find*the*query*Name*and*Info*Set*attached*to*your*query.*In*order*to*get*this,*
go*to*transaction*SQ02*
Enter*user*group*

Go*to*below*menu*option*to*get*the*info*set*

Get*the*info*set*as*shown*below*

Important:*

If*you*dont*see*your*query*there,*you*need*to*come*back*to*the*initial*screen*of*SQ02*and*do*below.*

Select*the*query*area*from*the*below*menu*

Set*below.*

Now*if*you*go*to*Queries,*you*should*be*able*to*see*your*query*

Download&the&query&
Go*to*transaction*SQ03*

Enter*your*user*group*and*click*on*the*button* *

Select*below*and*execute.*Info*set*and*the*query*name*is*what*you*get*from*the*previous*step*

Browse*a*folder*path*and*save*the*query*as*a*file*

Import&a&query&
Go*to*the*relevant*client*(Eg:*Production*client)*
Go*to*transaction*SQ03*

Click*on*the*button* *
*

Normally*it*appears*as*below.*

Important:*

If*you*dont*see*below*section*in*the*above*screen,*you*need*to*change*your*query*area*which*I*
described*earlier*in*this*document*
*

Select*below*options*and*execute*
*

Browse*the*downloaded*query**using*browse*option*
After*the*import,*you*will*see*the*import*log*in*the*screen*
