Mass Resists Acceleration

Earn Kanyapat Thongta

Mass = the measure of an objects

resistance to acceleration

Acceleration = the increase in rate or

speed of something
Mass resists acceleration

The amount of acceleration depends on the

force and also the mass of an object that is pushed.
The same force applied to
- twice the mass makes half the acceleration
- three time the mass = one-third the acceleration
Then, the acceleration is inversely proportional to
the mass.
Acceleration and mass change in
opposite directions.
If mass(denominator) increases, the
whole quantity will decrease.
