I. Introduction
As we define Mathematics, it is a study of patterns of relationship, a tool, an art and a language and way of thinking. It has been
also as the craft of counting as in arithmetic of daily life. As we see the students find this craft as interesting, but though it is interesting
they do not know the solution can be proven. With regards to this matter, the Department of Education together with the teachers and the
students through the supervision of the school head, participate on how to find a unique beauty in order logic that is found in
Mathematics.

3
In the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum (BEC), Mathematics is one of the most important subjects. If there is a change in
teaching Mathematics today due to K to 12 Curriculum, that is about emphasizing and strengthening the useful values in every lesson.
More strategies were introduced but the objectives and skills were still the same.

The success of the completion of Math projects and activities show the true meaning of unity and cooperation among teachers,
students, and parents to the full development of its clients- the students.

For this generation, Mathematics instruction was given a full concentration on true-to-life problem situation (authentic performance
task) for mastery and application of the skills learned.

Basically at the start of the school year, students were given diagnostic test to help teachers in determining the specific nature of the
students difficulties. Every lesson is followed by formative test, summative test for each unit and periodical test to measure the childrens
achievement. At the end of the school year, students were given numerous posttests such as National Achievement Test.
