Top Chord (75 x 75 x 6mm)


2 x 4 = 8 pcs 5.494m
2 x 4 = 8 pcs 5.162m
Using 6m length: 6 / 5.494 = 1 pc can be produced
8 / 1 = 8 pcs of 6m length
Using 6m length: 6 / 5.162m = 1 pc can be produced
8 / 1 = 8 pcs of 6m length

Bottom Chord (75 x 75 x 6mm)


2 x 4 = 8 pcs 7.32m
8 x 7.32 = 58.56m
58.56 / 6 = 9.75, say 10 pcs of 6m length(can be spliced)

King Post (50 x 50 x 6mm)


2 x 4 = 8 pcs 1.555m
Using 6m length: 6 / 1.555 = 3 pcs can be produced
8 / 3 = 2.67 or 3 pcs of 6m length with 3 pcs of 1.335m excess

Web Members (50 x 50 x 6mm)


Web Member 1
2 x 2 x 4 = 16 pcs 1.85m
Using 6m length: 6 / 1.85 = 3 pcs can be produced
16 / 3 = 5.33 or 6 pcs of 6m length with 5 pcs of 0.45m and 1 pc of 4.15m excess

Web Member 2
2 x 2 x 4 = 16 pcs 1.4m
Using 6m length: 6 / 1.0 = 4 pcs can be produced
16 / 4 = 4 pcs of 6m length with 4 pcs of 0.4m excess

16 total pcs 5 pcs cut from excess = 11 pcs remaining

Gusset Plate (6mm)


0.3m x 0.4m x 8 = 0.96 sq. m.
0.25m x 0.2m x 8 = 0.4 sq. m.
0.22m x 0.1m x 8 = 0.176sq m.
Total = 0.96 + 0.4 + 0.176 = 1.536 sq. m. say 1.6 sq. m.

0.25m x 0.15m x 8 = 0.3 sq. m.
0.3m x 0.3m x 8 = 0.72 sq. m.
0.25m x 0.25m x 16 = 1 sq. m.
