Assignment-1 Weight (20%)

This document describes four circuit diagrams to draw for an assignment. The circuits include: 1) a bell controlled by a button, one light controlled by a switch, and one lamp controlled from three positions. 2) Three lamps, two SPDT switches, and a master switch to keep lamps on regardless of switch positions. 3) Three two-way switches used as one-way switches to separately control three lights, plus a master switch to forcibly turn on all lights. 4) Three two-way switches and two lamps such that operating one switch turns one lamp on and the other off, and the third switch turns both lamps off.

Assignment-1 Weight (20%)

1) Draw the wiring, schematic and single line diagrams for the following circuit which includes;
a) Bell which is controlled by an independent push button, one light bulb controlled
separately by a switch and another lamp controlled from three different positions.
b) Three lamps, two SPDT switches and one 1-way Master switch. We want the lamps
to remain lighted, when the master switch is switched ON despite the positions of
the two SPDT switches. But when the master switch is switched OFF, the lamps are
controlled from two different positions using the two SPDT switches.
c) Three two-way switches (which you are going to use them as one way switches) to
control three different light points separately. Additionally, you are provided with a
master switch to forcibly turn ON the three lamps irrespective of the position of the
two-way switches.
d) Three two-way switch and two lamps. We want the system to act like this: when
someone comes to S1, he puts L1 ON. When he operates S2, L1 goes OFF and L2
goes ON simultaneously. However, operating S3, will turn OFF to both L1 and L2 at
the same time. The action is repeated in reverse order, if we started from S3 to S1.
