Use commas before or after


a quotation in a sentence.
We can go together said James.

Rule 2
Use a comma after common
introductory words in a sentence like
however, clearly, well, finally.
Finally we get to go outside!
Rule 3
Use a comma before a conjunction
when connecting two independent clauses
(Remember FANBOYS.)
I love summertime but I miss snow.

Use a comma to separate a city
and state and the day from the year in a date.

Rule #3Use a comma before a conjunction when connecting two
independent clauses.
