sealant with primeretc. complete, as per specifications/drawings and as directed by
the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying waterproofing compound of pidilite. The waterproofing activity
shall be carried out under the supervision of the manufacturer and the work shall have
a warranty of 10 years from the manufacturers

A Below Raft Over PCC

Supplying and installing 1.2mm thick self adhesive HDPE membrane, Dr. Fixit Pre
Bond having puncture resistance of 800N (as per ASTM E 154) and hydrostatic head
resistance not less than 60m head of water (ASTM D 5385).The system should be
fully bonded to the RCC and consists of highly resilient HDPE film, self adhesive
i polymer layer and a trafficable granular layer. The membrane shall have minimum of
75mm side and end laps which shall be sealed with double sided adhehive tape. The
size of the membrane should not be less than 2.4 Mtr. x 20 Mtr. to minimise the joints.
This membrane shall be continued over the vertical surface and fixed by prefixed
gaskets / shot guns.

B External Area of Retaining Wall (Open Excavation / Two side shuttering)

Providing and applying water swell-able bar at starter & construction joints Dr. Fixit
Waterbar of 20mm X 20mm at all construction joints, it shall have unrestrained
i volumetric expansion up to 100% in 30 days, Hydrostatic pressure resistance of
100 meters. Dr. Fixit Waterbar shall be fixed to the concrete using a gun grade
hydrophilic adhesive Dr. Fixit Adhesive.

Compressed air cleaning has to be done so as to make the surface free of dust,
debris, laitance etc. Repairing cracks by cutting and making V-groove in 25x25 mm,
with SBR polymer modified mortar Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP (cement, sand ,water will be

supplied by the client). Making of angle fillets all around the periphery of the wall with
polymer modified mortar using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP. Check for moisture, it shall be
below 5%
 Supply & Application of 2.0 mm thick, two component high performance spray applied
seamless waterproofing membrane Dr. Fixit Extensa R having coverage of 3.5 Kg /
sqm including application of primer Dr. Fixit MIEP.
The product must conform the following technical properties:

Zero VOC, Tensile Strength of film 1.00 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 412,Elongation
1000% as per ASTM D412, Water vapor transmission 0.2 gr/h/m2 as per ASTM E96,
Low temperature bend ASTM D2136 Passes at 30 deg F. Water Permeability Nil as
per BS EN 12390-8

Provide & installation of dimpled board / protection board over Dr. Fixit Extensa R as

Providing & installation of aluminum termination bar minimum 150 mm above finished
v floor level & shall be fixed with non corrosive fastener @ 4 nos per rm. Sealing of
termination bar with Dr. Fixit Sealant

C Internal surface of water tank

Providing & Applying 2 coats of Dr. Fixit Fastflex - waterproof coating with high
performance two component pre-packed cementitious waterproofing coating, with a
mix ratio of (liquid: Powder), parts by wt. - 1:1.4, CFTRI approved, @ 1 sqm / Kg /
coat over the bottom slab and raising it to the wall as per the manufacturers
specification & drawing. All the coats to be applied in right angle to each other.
i The coating shall have following properties:
Tensile strength : 2.6 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 412, Elongation at break, % : 120 as per
ASTM D 412, Adhesion strength : 1 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 4541, crack bridging :
2mm as per ASTM C 836, Water penetration (5 bar pressure) : 1% as per BS EN
12390, Hardness, Shore A : 60 as per ASTM D 2240, RCPT permeability : 92% as per
ASTM C 1202-97.

Providing & applying 2 coats of Dr. Fixit Dampguard water-based epoxy coating @ 8
sqm / Kg / coat. The coating shall be Certified by CFTRI as per 21 CFR 175 300 of

US FDA. Mixing Ratio (Base: Hardner: Water) 1:1:1, Adhesion strength: 2.5
N/mm2 as per ASTM D 4541 : 02

Providing and applying 20mm thick (in two layers of 14mm and 6mm thick)
smooth finished water proof plaster/bedding for the flooring and walls, in cement
mortar 1:3 with waterproof admixture of approved quality and quantity to the
internal/external surface of basement, cable trench, tunnels, underground tank, etc.
including back trowelling as specified, providing chamfered corners (watas) for
smooth finish of base plaster with plaster of vertical plaster, preparing the
surface to receive the plaster, etc. complete on horizontal and vertical surfaces as
directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. This entire area shall be leak proof and shall be
gauranteed for a minimum period of 10 years.
