1 Check: SWL, Mark, ID No and inspection Colour code.
Check Certificate of Warranty and Material Identity or State of

Conformity.

Check the body casting for damage, distortion, cracks and any
3 abnormalities. Ensure there are no gaps between the two body
sections. Check also that all screws are present and fully tight.

Check spring retraction. The galvanized steel and cable should

retract the complete length of the cable.
Check entire length of cable for abrasions, kinking, corrosion and
5
broken wires.

6 Check lock on action by pulling sharply on the end of the cable.

Check D-rings, snap hooks and automatic locking hooks for


7 damage and distortion. Check also for cracks worn parts and sharp
edges.
