To start the welcome ceremony first wish to all the present audience

according to time i.e. Good morning/ good afternoon/ good evening to


all of you;

On the behalf of the .Organization.Name.. I FirstAnchor


Name & I SecondAnchor Name (If two anchors are present)
welcome our chief guest, guest of honour, principal & other guests
(guest will be decided by the management), students and participants.

Today is a very great day that our Origination Name celebrating his
time period Annual day.

Friends we are living in that country on which we remember our God


before starting any good work. Now I invite our chief guest, guest of
honour & all the other dignitaries present on the stage for lighting the
lamp in front of MA SARASWATI.

[Now the entire guest will move for lighting the lamp]

We are also inviting girls for singing Saraswati Vandana.

Now girls will start singing the saraswati songs.

After finishing this event say thank you sir & madam OR thanks to all
of you

Now its time to welcome your all guests which you can call one by one
person from your organisation & they will welcome your all guests by
giving flowers or any things which the management provide.

Guest Speech:

In this section you can call to your every guest one by one & they will
express their views about motivating the students. After every guest
speech you will say thank you sir/madam & also say 2-3 lines which
he/she told in there speech.

Cultural Events:

Now that moment has come for which the students are waiting
.yes.. the cultural event time.

Now both anchors will start there anchoring by speaking one


line/paragraph each other.

The following events can be decided by your management team.

Anchor-2: yes for long time our friends are waiting to know about our
today events
Anchor-1: so lets tell all what will happen

be continue till the events will not come in the end. The first thing
anchors should keep in mind that audience will not be bored.

Note: anchors discussion should be related to the coming performance


for this anchor can look the performance before one day at the final
preparation & script can be prepared by both anchors.

Anchors can be changed after 5-7 performances if events are more.

Principal Speech:

Now anchors will call to principal sir/madam for giving the motivational
speech & reading whole organisation successful speech.

After this 1-2 cultural programs should be continuing.


Announcement of winners:

In this section anchors will announce the name of the winners in the
different activities.

Anchor-1: in dance 1st prize goes to candidate/group

Friends now its time to honour the winners of the different activities.
We request chief guest, guest of honour, principal sir/madam & all the

A warm thank you speech:

After the prize distribution ceremony anchors will call to the event
head/dean/HOD/convenor for giving a warm thank you to the guest,
participants, faculty & students.

everyone & this function end can be done by a group dance/bhangra etc.
Whichever management decide it.

Anchor-1: Good Evening ! Ladies and Gentleman!, The galaxy of


intellectuals, your Excellency, invited guests, teachers and my
dear friends how different is this evening. Dear audience, you
will yourself discover as the colours of cultural feast unfold !

Well, my first and foremost duty - On behalf of the Principal,


Teaching Staff and Students, we welcome you all to our ANNUAL
DAY FUNCTION

Anchor-2: We fell honored to have with us - The Honourable


Chief Guest His Excellency Mr Biren Nanda, the Indian
Ambassador To Indonesia, - Sir you hardly need any introduction,
you have made all of us proud by your distinguished work in
numerous capacities. You are one of the most celebrated foreign
services dignitary . Guests of Honour : Mr Dexter Kennedy, the
Pro-Vice Chairman of the School, the man of distinct vision and a
fountainhead of illuminating ideas, an idol of knowledge and
experience and inspiration to all of us. Mr Vipin Kumar, who is

Anchor-1: Now, we will have our traditional auspicious LAMP-


LIGHTENING ceremony as a tribute to Mother Saraswati, the
Godess of knowledge. (Mother, we pray for your blessings with all
humility give us wisdom to make this world a better place. May
all human beings live in harmony with nature and other forms of
life. May the truth prevail. May the darkness of ignorance be
swept away by the dawn of self-realization.)that the by our

LAMP-LIGHTENING

Anchor-2 : Next, I would like to call upon our respected Principal,


the sculptor of human character, a seasoned scholar and
navigator of this flagship of knowledge ----- to present a brief
agenda and give the school presentation.

PRESENTATION
Anchor-1: Without taking much of your time, permit us to start the
programme. ________ do you feel some turbulence around
here ?

Anchor-2: Yes, I do the heart beats have gone up and


everyone is eager to sink into the depth of music, song, lights and
joy. Well, here you are. Today, we will have rainbow of cultural
programmes prepared under the able stewardship of our
teachers.

First, there will be a FAN DANCE by kids from grade 6 To 8 (This


dance is performed with one or more fans and has a
Japanese/Korean Origin. It involves various movements, figures
and mesmerizing formations which engrosses its audience to the
core.)
A warm and pleasant evening to all those who are present here. If there
are no stars,there wont be any beauty in the sky. If there is no difference
of opinions there wont be any creative and innovative ideas. Similarly if
there is no Annual Function in our school, there wont be any chance for
our young and dynamic children to uphold the pride of the institute, to
catalogue the challenges we face, the endeavors we made andthe success
we achieved and to show what we were, what we are and what we will
be.Here am I hence, much privileged to stand before you, to extend
profound wishes andgreetings from the bottom of my heart, to bring the
warmth of our affection, throughthe stream of love, to welcome each and
every one of you.It is time for yet another day of the year to exhibit the
talents of all our children, to bring to your kind notice their academic
excellence, and the medals they bagged intheir outstanding performance
in spots, and the grades they achieved in extracurricular activities, and in
everything they speak and perform today as the cultural feastunfolds.We
are extremely happy to have you with us today, to share in our joy and
delightfulmoments of the day, and to be part of what we are. Wishing

INTRODUCING THE CHIEF GUEST
I am profuse elated to take an opportunity to introduce our chief guest of
the day Rev.Dr. N. Ravichandran, the director of the IIM Indore. He is
graduated from IIMMadras in 1980 with specialization in Applied
Probability. He joined IIM Ahemdabadas faculty in Production and
Quantitative Method Area in 1980.His teaching and research interest
include Applied Probability, Business ProcessReengineering,
Competitive Strategy, IT for Competitive Advantage, Logistics
andSupply Chain Management, Operation Strategy, Quantitative
Methods inManagement, Simulation and Stochastic Modeling.He had
held several short term visiting positions in many European Universities.
Hehas edited and co-authored 6 books, presented 80 research papers in
national andinternational conference, 70 research publications in peer
reviewed journals andauthored 40 management cases. He has designed 8
new executive courses at IIMAhemdabad and introduced 7 electives in
the PGA program of IIM Ahemdabad.Several companies in India and in
abroad as well have sought his expertise, to evolve,tailor made executive
programme, in the areas of general management, business process
reengineering, information technology as a source of advantage,
competitivestrategy, supply chain management, logistics, operation
