Classification
Pharmacologic: sulfonylureas
Lowers blood glucose by stimulating the release of insulin from
the pancreas and increasing sensitivity to insulin at receptor sites.
Action
Therapeutic Effects: Lowering of blood glucose in diabetic
patients.
Dosage 60mg 1tab q 12 BID PO
Control of blood sugar in type 2 diabetes mellitus when control of
