THE PRESENT -
If I had heard the alarm clock this morning things would have been different? How?
Yes. I wouldnt have woken up late, I would have found a free taxi, and I wouldnt be
late now.

We use wish + past simple/continuous to express regret about a present situation, that we
would like to be different, while wish + past perfect is used to express regret about a past
situation. In this case, we have a passed situation, the exams have already been given and
we havent passed them.

Correction: Hes music is so moving. I can feel it whenever I hear him play.
We use moving to describe feelings caused by events/special moments/arts etc. but not
by persons.
