2 Insert the current time into the 'Birthdays' sheet by selecting cell B4 and pressing ctrl, shift and : /1
3 Write your birthday into cell B5, format the date so it reads (yyyy-mm-dd) /1
Copy your birthday into cell B6 and change the formatting to Month day, year (June 9, 1996)

Google "Most popular people born on" then your birth date (i.e. June 9) and go to the "Most
5 popular people born on" IMDB page (should be the first choice)
Select 3 celebrities from this list (must be in at least one movie) and enter their name into the

7 Enter the year, month and date of the birthdays of each celebrity (yyyy-mm-dd) /1
8 Change the formatting of the birthdays entered so each has a different date format /1
9 Enter the name of one movie each celebrity has been in in the Movie column /1
Unhide the "Movies"sheet - steps 10 - 15 have to do with the "Movies" Sheet (notice that the
movie titles you entered in the "Birthdays"sheet were transferred over to your "Movies"sheet -

Complete the Budget and Gross Box Office information using wikipedia, IMDB, or rotton
tomatoes - To do this click on a movie that the actor is in, then scroll down the web page until
you see the heading "BOX OFFICE" here is where you will find both "Budget"and "Gross"(budget
is the amount it cost to make the movie, gross is the money the amount of money the movie

Format all dollar amounts to currency (highlight the cells, use the drop down menu at the top of
12 excel (it will say "general" in it) - scroll down and select "currency" /1
Enter the Rotten Tomatoes, Tomatometer rating for each movie as a percentage (using %
formatting) - To do this, go to the "movies"sheet and click on the "rotton tomatoes" heading, the
hyperlink will take you to the website, once you are there, type the movie title into the search
bar- the rotton tomatoes rating for the film will show up next to the film in the form of a
13 percentage and an image of a tomato, or a green splattered tomato :-) /1
Unhide rows 11-16 in the 'Movies' worksheet (move your cursor over the 11 and 16 numbers of
the rows, click and highlight both the 11 and the 16, then right click and select "unhide" - If it
14 doesn't work, call me over to clarify :-) /1
Format the admission prices into currency by right clicking on the cell and slecting the "Format
15 cells" then select "currency" then click "ok" /1
Hide the gridlines on both worksheets (click on Page Layout, this is on the very top menu of your
16 excel worksheet then > Uncheck Gridlines) /1
Ensure the formatting in both (Birthdays, and Movies) sheets allow for all contents to be seen
17 and is consistent /1
18 Edit cell colours, font colours, font sizes, and style - make this worksheet your own! /1
