I. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is the continuation of English 1. It further develops and enhances the skills already learned in English 1 and to put practice the theories
and principles of organizing and developing expository, narrative, descriptive and argumentative compositions.

II. COURSE OBJECTIVE:


At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
a. Use oral and written language in both receptive and productive forms;
b. Identify the roles and functions of the four kinds of discourse namely: descriptive, narrative, argumentative and expository;
c. Give and utilize the different methods of paragraph development and composition writing;
d. Appreciate values learned from lessons and develops skills in writing about them.
