~DELIVERANCE STUDY GUIDE: HOLY SPIRIT 101 ~

Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour-Isaiah 45:15
I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob,
Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.-
Isaiah 45:19

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the
rebellious dwell in a dry land.-Psalm 68:6

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are
ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.-
John 8:31-32>>>From Satanic control, influence, manipulation and deception from
within and without, which persists and remains because of apathy and a lack of seeking
truth and awareness of eternal realities and our God Given spiritual identity in Christ.
Continuing in the Word of God daily like Psalm 1:2-3 states brings us back to the
serenity/perfect peace and sanity of a childlike mindset. (See Psalm 119:165, 112:7-8, 3:6, Isaiah
26:3, John 14:27, 1 John 4:17-18, Job 11:13-20, Deuteronomy 4:29, Jeremiah 29:11-14, Proverbs 8:17, 2
Corinthians 3:17, John 8:36)

Gods word is his spirit (John 6:63), which we must be led by if we are to be sons and
daughters of the Living God. (See Romans 8:11&14, Titus 1:16, 3:5, Ephesians 5:26-27, Psalm 107:20,
John 17:17, 6:47-58, 8:24, Luke 13:3, 5)

This means trusting his word, and not man or just any so called minister of God (Psalm
118:8, 119:99, Jeremiah 17:5, 7, 12:10-11, Isaiah 9:16, Jude 1:4, 2 Timothy 3:5, Ezekiel 34, 1 Corinthians 2:4-5,
4:20). And its this meditation of truth of Gods word/spirit that quickens us in the spirit of
our mind by enabling us to become discerning of the presence of our enemy within the
Fallen/Carnal mind (Proverbs 4:23, John 13:2, 1 Chronicles 21:1, 1 John 5:19-20, Romans 8:5-10), through
a restored spiritual awareness of Gods presence (Ephesians 3:14-19, 1 Peter 5:8, Job 22:22, Psalm
119:11), which allows us to overcome Satan and his eternally lost crew (Psalm 78:49, Revelation
12:11), so as to sort out/cast out all forms of evil and demonic presence from our minds
and lives, through and by Faith in the Son of the Living God (2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Proverbs 22:10,
24:9, 15:12, 21:11, Jeremiah 4:4&14, Ephesians 4:26-27, Matthew 17:19-21, Mark 11:22-24, 9:23), so that the
enemy can no longer have dominion over our lives any longer.

This turns things around and now we have the authority to deal treacherously with them,
just as they did with us (Isaiah 33:1, 51:21-23, Jeremiah 30:15-17, Matthew 10:8). Our weapon is
understanding our Identity and Authority found in the word of God, also known as the
sword of the spirit (Ephesians 6:17), which when used properly executes judgments on the
kingdom of darkness from within and without. (See Proverbs 18:21, Job 22:27-28, Matthew 17:20-21,
Luke 4:36, Job 5:3, 29:17, Psalm 78:41, 94:16, 149:6-9, Micah 5:6-9, Isaiah 30:31-32, 31:8, Nahum 2:11-13, Mark
16:17-18, Jeremiah 48:10, 13:18)

12 For the word (spirit) of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a
discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not
manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we
have to do-Hebrews 4:12-13 (See also 2 Corinthians 13:5, James 1:22-25)
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.-Matthew 4:4 (See also Jeremiah 15:16, John 16:24,
>>>When we grow our spirit man, by feeding on the word of God and
15:11, 13:17)
applying understanding of the things we learn, the enemy loses control, influence, and
standing in our lives, as well as those around us. Because by the spirit/word of god, we
are able to discern the source of the thoughts and intentions in our heart, and from where
they originate. Thats why in Hebrews 4:13 it says what it does about all creatures being
manifest in his sight. (See also Romans 8:38-39)

Satans kingdom wages war against the soul of man (Psalm 143:3, 102:8, 55:2-3, 142:6, 74:3, 7,
69:26), and destroys us daily because of our ignorance of and apathy for truth. It breaks
Gods heart to see this (Jeremiah 13:17), but he has given us the tools to overcome the devil
if we so choose (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2:15, Isaiah 28:9-13, 1 Peter 2:2, Hebrews 5:12-14, Psalm 119:6).
Thats why 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 tells us to take every thought captive (this requires sobriety
of all lust), because the thoughts in our soul, if they are not rooted and grounded in love
by faith in the spirit/word of God, almost always come directly from the enemy. And
without the applied knowledge of God (John 14:6) in Jesus Christ, we remain captives to the
will of the enemy (2 Timothy 2:26, Galatians 4:8, Jeremiah 13:21, 50:33, Isaiah 26:13, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
within a limited carnal mindset, that stifles any creativity/free flow of thought, which is
necessary for freedom, sound judgment and understanding.

When we get quickened in the spirit of our mind by reflecting on the word/spirit/truth of
God we can become completely free from the thoughts/influence of sin & emotional
control of the enemy, and the serenity/stillness of mind & peace of a child is restored to
us again (Job 33:25, Psalm 104:34, 49:3, 111:10, Matthew 18:3, Luke 3:9, Proverbs 1:7, 32-33, Isaiah 48:18).
In this state of being, we have the judgment and spirit of the living God to guide us
continually (Isaiah 58:11, John 16:13, 1 John 2:27, Psalm 119:105) just as in the days of our youth.
(See also Job 29, Ezekiel 16:22, 43, 60).

Zion shall be redeemed with judgment (See Isaiah 59:8-15, Job 27:1-4, 32:9, Proverbs 2), and her
converts with righteousness.-Isaiah 1:27 (See also Isaiah 59:20, 33:6, 45:22-25)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new-2 Corinthians 5:17

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood >>>When we struggle with our sinful
nature, things like apathy, laziness, doubt, confusion and a lack of confidence; its not our
flesh and blood but there are Principalities operating through our fallen carnal minds
always there resisting (wrestling) us from doing the will of God (Psalm 119:98, 42:9-10, 35:15,
118:12-13, 129:12-13, Romans 8:5- 9), until we come to a saving knowledge of the Truth and thus
an entering into the spirit, like John 8:31- 32 up top states. With discernment, recognition
and the right effort of seeking God in the spirit of our mind with his word and our whole
heart, we can rise above and overcome these invisible forces, by the strength/spirit of
God through the renewing of our mind (Romans 12:1-2, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, Psalm 44:5) by faith
(Romans 10:17, Zechariah 4:6, Philippians 4:13, Romans 8:37). but against principalities, against
powers>>>These are Satanic forces of a forever extinguished kingdom that currently
preside over geographic territories/regions of earth (Daniel 10:12-13, 20) whom influence and
affect the soul of all men to keep Gods People outside of the spirit/word/knowledge of God
(Hosea 4:6). against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness
in high places.-Ephesians 6:12

26 For if we sin willfully>>>Conscious willful serving the enemy/sin (Daniel 8:12,

Deuteronomy 30:19, Psalm 81:8-11, Joshua 24:15, 1 Cointhians 9:27) leaves breaches in our spirit
man/mind, and slows us down in awareness/judgment, making us progressively opened to
be under spiritual bondage and control of dark forces from within and without. With
repentance (a changed and renewed mind), granted its sincere, these seal and close in
time (Micah 7:9). after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no
more sacrifice (covering for/of breaches) for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of
judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. -Hebrews 10:26-27 (See also
Isaiah 26:11, Job 20:26, 18:12-15, Matthew 25:41, 6:24, 12:25, James 1:8, Job 15:34, Psalm 34:22, 23:3, Ezekiel
18:20-32, Jeremiah 3:12&22)

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that
loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 23
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will
love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. -John 14:21, 23
>>>This is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When we resist the Devil by submitting
to God, he takes them filthy squatters, loiterers, and slandering spirits/unnecessary
burdens we bear in our ignorance (Psalm 31:13, Deuteronomy 28:43-48, Hosea 7:9, Jeremiah 51:51,
Proverbs 5:16-17) out of the way and gives us the comforter, his Holy Spirit (John 14:26, 15:26).

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. -James 4:7

4 Take away the dross from the silver (See Jeremiah 6:28-30, 10:23, Amos 3:3, Romans 6:16, Psalm
37:23), and there shall come forth a vessel (See 2 Timothy 2:21) for the finer. 5 Take away the
wicked from before the king, and his throne (our hearts, See Psalm 4:2-5) shall be
established in righteousness.-Proverbs 25:4-5

9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up
the second time. 10 For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as
drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry. 11 There is one come out of thee, that
imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor. 12 Thus saith the LORD; Though they be
quiet, and likewise many (See Psalm 55:18), yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass
through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more. 13 For now will I break his yoke
from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.- Nahum 1:9-13 (See also Jeremiah 30:8, Isaiah
10:27, Matthew 11:28-30)

With The Word/Spirit of God we grow in awareness and can discern the thoughts of the
spirit from thoughts in our soul that come from devils. We do this by taking every though
captive to the knowledge of Christ and in doing so we can sort out/cast out every false
way and demonic presence through an active faith in the living God. Notice how the
verses from Nahum above go from Ye Imagine to there is one come out of thee that
Imagineth? Thats because you can be thinking another entities thoughts without
realizing it was not actually yours (Psalm 38:12). When you discern this by the subtlety of
the spirit (Proverbs 1:4), true freedom comes. Spiritual bondage/captivity is only possible
when we have a void area of unconsciousness (Matthew 12:43-44), from a breach in our spirit
man/mind from sin/trauma and not knowing who we are as children of the Living Creator
(John 1:11-14). And I know myself there have been times when I had anger towards God
when I thought about my sin and his judgment. If you are thinking bad things about God,
its not even you, in the true sense. Why would you do that when all good things,
including life comes from his hands (Job 2:10, Psalm 145:16, 63:3)? It doesnt make sense but
thats the carnal/fallen demonically exploited mind, which much of humanity languishes
in, including the church (See Isaiah 10:22).

If you are not content with life, and you have emotional issues you can get back up to
speed by seeking God. Fallen Angels and Demons (Ezekiel 32:21, Revelation 12:9) can only
operate through exploiting breaches in our spirit (Psalm 18:29-30, Proverbs 25:28, 15:4, 16:32,
Isaiah 8:13-14, 25:4-5, 58:12, 22:9, Jeremiah 14:17, Lamentations 2:13, Nahum 3:13, Psalm 24:7). This
happens when we do not have the joy of life as children do. Sometimes when we are
brought very low, spiritually and emotionally, fasting is necessary to repair the breaches &
get these losers out of our lives/awareness (Matthew 17:21, Mark 9:29, Isaiah 58). Worshipping
God in spirit and truth brings us back up to the speed of life (Isaiah 40:29-31, Psalm 40:1-3, 88,
38, 77).

Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living,
and in his wrath.-Psalm 58:9 (See also Psalm 138:7, 57:3, 81:13-14, 35:17, 55:9-10, 58:6-8, 59:14-15,
62:3)

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye
have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the
promise>>>Gods indwelling presence/spirit (See Acts 2:38- 39, 1:8, Hosea 6:1-3, Joel 2:23)
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just
shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.-Hebrews
10:35-38 (See also Psalm 19:14, 24:3-4, James 4:8)

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit>>>Traditions of
men/false religion (Matthew 15:9) and satanic/occult methods of enlightenment and
spiritualism outside of the Living Gods will and word (Psalm 16:4, Exodus 20:3, Psalm 81:8-11,
Deuteronomy 18:10-13, 1 Timothy 4:1, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 Timothy 6:3-5, Galatians 1:8-9, Job 11:3-6, John
7:16-17, 1 Timothy 4:16, Romans 16:17-18, 2 John 1:10). after the tradition of men, after the rudiments
of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye
are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of
the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen
with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And
you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together
with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that
was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And
having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over
them in it.-Colossians 2:8-15

1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye
walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the
spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our
conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the
mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy,
for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us
together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit
together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the
exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are
ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any
man should boast.10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. -Ephesians 2:1-10

Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the
sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.-Isaiah 33:23>>>When
you know yourself (as a child of God) there will no longer be emotional
turbulence/manipulation by which devils can influence you like a ship with a sail. Its
called being stable, single minded, fearless and free; QUICKENED (John 3:5, Mark 16:16,
Romans 6:1-14, John 16:12).
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst
come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.-Revelation 22:17
