Prompting Level-George
Directions:
To start, collect data when George is in the special education classroom. This is a more controlled environment
which will make it easier to track prompts and the percent of required prompts. The goal is to decrease prompts
for George to a gesture with the greatest possible delay, and overall increase the level of independent work.

Scenario 1/2/17:
George has been given his assignment and given instructions. George appears to begin working but the teacher
notes no progress. The teacher then taps the question and tells George do number two. George completes
number 1 and then stops, the teacher then taps questions number two and tells George do number two. George
requires one or more prompts for every question.

Based on this scenario I would mark 4 (Verbal 2-3 words) and 100% required, because the highest prompt I
gave him was the 3-word verbal and he needed that prompt for every question or 100% of the assignment.
