CA-I (July2013) Paper 2

1) The document is an exam for a Circuit Analysis course, with 5 questions across 5 units. It covers topics like unbalanced delta connected loads, half wave symmetry in Fourier analysis, Fourier series representations of waveforms, power calculations with non-sinusoidal voltages/currents, circuit analysis problems involving resistance, reactance, power and impedances. 2) Students must attempt 5 questions by selecting one from each unit, which involve calculations for line currents, power, Fourier coefficients, average/effective values, impedances and circuit analysis values like power factor, resistance and reactance. Diagrams and assumptions are permitted. 3) Clear showing of steps, units and schematic diagrams are required wherever necessary.
