CLASS SELECTION: When selecting a wine classification, please enter the wine into a class in which the
winemaker believes it will be best evaluated. This recommendation is especially prevalent with wines that
typically have residual sugar, such as Chenin Blanc, Gewurztraminer, and Riesling.
Regardless of the actual sugar content, please select a classification that best represents the wine. Please refer to the
International Riesling Guidelines as specified by the International Riesling Foundation, see drinkriesling.com/tastescale/ for
guidelines. A wine may be entered into more than one classification provided an entry fee has been submitted for each
entered class. The LBGC reserves the right to reclassify an entry if it is entered in the wrong class.
