if they have penetratedinto the flora ofa
country before 1492 (discovery of
America), and as nophytcs if they have
penetrated after that year.
On the ground ofthese definitionsand of
the analysisof our databasewe consider
that of 433 alien plants identified for
Romania, 129 caxa are naturalized
(Anastasiu and Negrean 2004). From
among these 36 taxa can be considered
invasive, narnely the following:
