Join a class
To join a class with a course code:

Click +.

Enter the code that the teacher


gave you in the box and click Join.

The class stream opens. If your


teacher included a class overview,

you can review it by clicking

To view content in the class
stream:

Click Stream.

Click an Announcement to
see the content.

Click an Assignment to see


any assigned work or
feedback from the teacher.

Open a content

Click an Announcement item


to open.

The content will appear in


Google Drive on the new tab.

There are 2 type of the


contents.

Document (PDF file)

Media (SWF/MP4 file)

Open document content

Select an item to view the


document. It will appear on
the new tab.

Open media content

media file to your computer.

media file in your computer.

view media file.

Double click on a media file.

The media file will run on


google chrome then.

Submit an assignment

There are two ways you can complete an assignment in


Classroom:

Turn inIf you need to attach anything to the


assignment, follow the steps to turn in an assignment.

Mark doneIf there are no attachments for the


assignment, follow the steps to mark an assignment
done.

You can edit an assignment after submitting it.


However, any assignment turned in or marked as done
after the due date is considered late.

To turn in an assignment

Files that you attach or create for an assignment can be viewed and edited by
your teacher before you click Turn In. This can be helpful if you need your
teacher to review a file before you officially submit an assignment to be
reviewed and graded.

Tip: If you have the


assignment open in Google
Docs, you can simply
click Turn in in the top
corner. Youll have the
option to add a private
message to your teacher as
well, if needed.

To turn in an assignment

Go to the class stream and click the assignment you want to turn in.

Note: You can also access your assignments on the Assignments page.

(Optional) To attach a file from Google Drive or your computer:

Click Add.

Click Google Drive or Upload file.

Select the file and click Add.

(Optional) To attach a link:

Click Add.

Select Link.

Enter the link and click Add Link.

To turn in an assignment

(Optional) To create a new


Google Drive
item, click Create and select
the file type.

(Optional) To remove an
attachment, click X next to it.

(Optional) To add a comment


about the assignment, enter it
in the box and click Post.

Click Turn In

To mark an assignment done

Go to the class stream and click the


assignment you want to mark done.

Note: You can also access your


assignments on the Assignments
page.

Click Mark As Done.

(Optional) Add a private note to your


teacher.

Click Mark As Done.

To edit your assignment after turning in


or marking done

Go to the class stream and click the


assignment you want to edit.

Note: You can also access your


assignments on the Assignments page.

Click Unsubmit.

(Optional) Add a private note to your


teacher.

Click Unsubmit.

Note: Your status for this assignment


changes to Not Done so make sure you
resubmit it before the due date.

To edit your assignment after turning in


or marking done

Make any changes to the assignment


or attachments.

(Optional) Attach any new files or links.

If the assignment has an attachment,


click Turn In or if there are not
attachments, click Mark As Done.

(Optional) Add a private note to your


teacher.

Click Turn In or Mark As Done.

View a returned assignment

Click the class.

Locate the assignment and click Open.

Rule
ONLY post a topic concerning the study of this
course on the stream.
2. Student who breaks rule No.1 will be penalized by
deducting 5% of the total score.
