Neki glagoli nikad (ili skoro nikad) nemaju ing oblik. Ovi glagoli se zovu statiki
glagoli.
Stative, state verbs definicija:
Grupe glagola u engleskom jeziku, koje opisuj uodreeno stanje oseanje,
posedovanje, ulno opaanje se koriste samo u Simple vremenima a nikako u
Continuous vremenima.

Dakle, oni oznaavaju neko razmiljanje i druge misaone aktivnosti, emocije,


posedovanje, i ulne opaaje (miris, ukus, itd.).
Druga vrsta su dinamiki glagoli, koji prikazuju nekuaktivnost.
