Good afternoon Mr./Madame Chairman, Ladies and

Gentlemen. The topic for our debate is [insert topic here]
We the affirmative team believe that this statement is true.
We define the topic as
Today as first speaker I will be talking to you about [insert
the points you will be talking about]
Our second speaker will be talking about [insert the points
your second speaker will be talking about]
Our third speaker will rebut and sum up our team case.
I am going to discuss two points. My first point is [insert
your first point/argument]
This is because [insert a reason that supports your first
point/argument]
[if you have another reason] Another reason to support
this is [insert a reason that supports your first point]
Now to my second point. [insert your second point]
This is because [insert a reason that supports your
second point/argument]
[if you have another reason] Another reason to support
this is [insert a reason that supports your second
point/argument]
So Mr./Madame Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen, in

First Negative Speaker

Good afternoon Mr./Madame Chairman, Ladies and

Gentlemen. The topic for our debate is [insert topic here]

Today as first speaker I will be talking to you about [insert
the points you will be talking about]
Our second speaker will be talking about [insert the points
your second speaker will be talking about]
Our third speaker will rebut and sum up our team case.
The first speaker of the affirmative team has tried to tell you
[during the debate you will write what your
opposition has said]
This is wrong because [during the debate you will write
a reason why what your opposition has said is wrong]
I will be discussing two points. My first point is [insert your
first point/argument]
This is because [insert a reason that supports your first
point/argument]
[if you have another reason] Another reason to support
this is [insert a reason that supports your first point]
Now to my second point. [insert your second point]
This is because [insert a reason that supports your
second point/argument]
[if you have another reason] Another reason to support
this is [insert a reason that supports your second
point/argument]
So Mr./Madame Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen, in
conclusion
[finish this sentence with what your team believes]

This is wrong because
Our first speaker has already explained [insert your first
speakers arguments here]

second point/argument]
[if you have another reason] Another reason to support
this is [ insert a reason that supports your second
point/argument]
My third and final point is [insert a reason that supports
your third point/argument]

[if you have another reason] Another reason to support
this is [insert a reason that supports your second
point/argument]
My third and final argument to support our case is [insert
your third point/argument]
