Week 3 Lesson Plan

This lesson plan is for an 8th grade English class unit on friendship. It will take place over 2 hours. Students will review vocabulary and phrases from the unit using an infographic. They will work in pairs to build sentences and ask questions using the words. Then students will individually complete a quiz using the words to assess their learning. Their use of the vocabulary in group work and their answers on the individual quiz will be used to evaluate their understanding of the unit.

The eighth grade students will remember 90 percent of the words covered through unit
with the help of revision tool and they will give true answers to 85 percent of questions
asked in the quiz.

An infographic will be used for revision of the whole unit.
A pop-quiz which is prepared by using Obsurvey will be used for students assessment.

As general, Eclectic method will be used in this lesson but mostly Direct method and
Communicative Language Teaching will be used
Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and
Require Learner Participation)]
Firstly, Students will have a chance to remember what they covered through the whole
unit with the help of an infographic which contains vocabularies and some functional
expressions related to subject. While doing this, they need to build a sentence or ask a
question to their friends with these phrases and vocabularies. After all the students have
had a turn, They will have a quiz as assessment. After the quiz session, f there is some
questions which students had some problem, teacher explains these questions

Some parts of the revision will continue in


pairs.

Summary
In this last lesson of the unit, a revision of the unit and a quiz will be the core of the plan.

Some small mistakes will be ignored but the more problematic ones will be corrected by

If there will be a problem while connecting to the net, Teacher distributes the hardcopies of both revision task and quiz.
