This SAP note addresses an error occurring every 5 minutes when reading lock entries from the ENQUEUE tables. The issue was caused by changes to rights for the SAPSYS user to read these tables. You will find errors in SM21 of following type popping with a frequency of 5 minutes:
Enqueue: Transfer error while reading lock entries

Reason and Prerequisites


The issue is due to changings in rights to read ENQUEUE tables from an enqueue server via module
ENQUEUE_READ. One collector for CCMS alert monitoring checks, whether the queue deamon for SMOHQUEUE
is running or not. Doing so, it reads the enqueue tab. This is not allowed anymore for SAPSYS user
in client 000.

Solution
We have changed the check, making the enqueue tab reading unnecessary. Apply the correction
instructions according your SP level and CRM version. Afterwards, the error message disappears in
the log.
