ADVERTISEMENT FOR ADMISSION ON B.TECH BASIS


ADMISSION NOTICE
Applications are invited on the prescribed forms from the candidates domiciled in the Province of
Sindh except Karachi for admission in SECOND YEAR Bachelor's degree course with 16-Batch in the
following discipline on B.Tech: (Pass) basis:
B.TECH:(PASS):

Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Technology: One seat in each Engineering discipline

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates who have passed B.Tech: (Pass) examination before the issuance of the
application forms WITH minimum 60% aggregate marks (3.00 CGPA) upto 2014 are only eligible to
apply for admission. Candidates shall be required to appear in the Pre-Admission Test to be
conducted on Sunday 25-09-2016 at 10.00 am at Mehran University of Engineering &
Technology, Jamshoro. The right of admission in case of default to appear in the Pre-Admission Test
shall be fore-feited. One percent of aggregate marks will be deducted for each gap of one academic
year after matriculation examination from the total marks of the qualifying examination.
APPLICATION FORMS: Application form can be obtained from the office of Director Admissions,
Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro on payment of Rs.3500/- (Rupees Three
thousand five hundered only) through Bank Challan on all working days/hours from 29-08-2016 to 0209-2016.
No admission form shall be issued after the stipulated period.
Application form duly completed in all respects accompanied by attested copies of the required
documents be deposited in the aforesaid office by or before 08-09-2016.
NOTE:
i.
The qualifying/passing marks in the Pre-Admission Test are minimum
40% (with no negative marking).
ii. Those candidates who are already in Job/Service are required to submit No
Objection Certificate from their employer for grant of three years study leave for studies purpose.
