RUSSELL
REPORT
Dec. 27, 2016
will give us contact with unsaved Latin Americans with whom we can share the gospel. We are excited about having
the opportunity to preach the gospel in Spanish to this unique group of individuals. Starting around mid 2017, we will
be beginning a type of furlough year reporting to our supporting churches. Our last furlough was 2012-2013. I say a
type of furlough because it will not be a normal furlough ministry in that we will still be making our normal ministry
trips overseas and doing everything else we normally do and just trying to squeeze in a furlough as we can. We are
starting to schedule churches even now for 2017 so if your church would like for us to come, please have the pastor or
missions committee get in contact with us. We look forward to seeing everyone!
We have great needs on many of our fields and need your help. If you are interested in going on a short term missions
trip, whether it be for a week, two weeks, a month, a year, or even two years, please get in contact with us. We have
Spanish speaking fields, Portuguese speaking fields, and English speaking fields. We need Bible teachers, biblical
counselors, school teachers, disciplers, camp workers, sports ministry workers, medical missions, aviation ministry,
crisis pregnancy centers, ESL ministries, and more.
On a personal note, our youngest son (Samuel) was married. He and his dear wife, Bibiana, have both enlisted in the
Air Force. His wife is currently in basic training in Texas and Samuel leaves for his basic training (also in Texas) on
Jan. 24. We celebrated a wonderful Christmas as a family. We attended a special service on Christmas eve and again
on Christmas day. We were reminded of our great Immanuel, which means, God with us. God is with us in the
hard times we do not have to face them alone. We are thankful for that!
Thanks again for all you do for our ministry and may 2017 be a wonderful year for you and your family.
Grateful for Your Prayers and Support,
