1. Given the following laboratory capillary pressure data: Wt. of dry sample

= 18 gm, Wt. of 100% saturated sample by water = 28 gm, IWOC at a


depth of 3420 ft, a-w = 70 dynes/cm, o-w = 35 dynes/cm, w = 70 lb/ft3,
o = 55.6 lb/ft3.

2.2.Describe the lithology and permeability of each core.
3. The dry weight of a core plug is 7.12 gm, and 9.88 gm after 100%

saturated with water. This plug was placed in capillary pressure apparatus
in order to get its Pc curve, and the following data was obtained:

3.2.Determine the values of Pd and Swc.
3.3.If a-w = 73 dynes/cm, o-w = 17 dynes/cm, w = 1.02 gm/cc, o = 0.8
gm/cc and IWOC at a depth of 3872 ft, convert the laboratory data to
reservoir data in a table form.
3.4.Calculate the thickness of the transition zone.
3.5.Is the reservoir rock homogeneous or heterogenous? Why?
