    project.

    Tabatha brought back an idea from the cross building/grade level meeting where parents signed
    up for a time or date that interested or worked for them at the beginning of the school year.
    This would be an idea to consider for next year. It would be a less intimidating way to make
    connections.

    -Share the document with your team (are there any takeaways from the article, these are by no
    means must dos, just things to think about)

    Positive response from teachers and parents to the report cards being sent home early. The
    conversations were more meaningful and centered around what needed to be discussed rather
    than going through the report cards. The conferences felt more relaxed.

    Teachers had to send more reminders with the online sign-up. Travis will report conference
    attendance at the next FLT meeting. A few parents responded that they like the option to pick
    their times instead of being assigned a time. Next fall Stacie would be willing to help parents
    set up parent portal, so parent information is up to date and they have access.

    -Talk with your teams (how do you feel about coming together as a building for our two-hour
    late starts)? Would we meet for 20 min. or the duration of the morning (2 hours)

    Kindergarten and First grade reported that their time on 2 hour late starts are already very full.
    If we were meeting for 20 minutes it would be important that those 1st 20 minutes are very
    focused and meaningful. Some feel it would be beneficial for all teams to be focused on the
    goals of our vision card.

    On the December 2 hr late start Franklin will meet in the media center for a 20 minute meeting.
