Lesson For Aq

This document outlines a lesson plan for an 11th grade communications class. The lesson focuses on analyzing elements of effective presentations by having students listen to a recording of John F. Kennedy's inaugural speech. Students will identify the speech's form, style, organization and other elements both from listening and by reading the transcript. They will then assess JFK's effectiveness as a presenter by considering his delivery, body language, eye contact and other techniques. Finally, students will reflect on their own listening and participation skills through a written assignment.
