Applications

Cargill Tex 06201 is a versatile thickener recommended for products


prepared under moderate processing conditions, such as:
- bakery and fruit fillings (fresh, canned, pail and frozen)
- soups, sauces and gravies (canned and frozen)
- frozen entrees
- barbecue and tomato sauces
- baby foods
- canned pet foods

Net 50 lb. (22.5 kg) multi-ply bags

Storage

Best storage is realized in a clean, dry, odor-free area at ambient


temperature and humidity. The recommended best before date for starch
is 24 months from date of manufacture. Starches stored beyond the best
before date should be tested periodically for fitness of use.

Legislation

Cargill Tex 06201 complies with FDA regulations 21 CFR 172.892 and
EC directive 95/2/EC.
Cargill Tex 06201 should appear in the ingredients list in the as "food
starch-modified" in the USA and in the EU as "modified starch".
Please consult your legal counsel for labeling requirements.
