Set the subnet mask:

Start -> All Programs -> LCT-BGF -> Boot Configuration

Default IP Address
The NE has the
default IP address:

192.100.0xx.0yy
xx and yy are the last 4 digits
of the serial number,
for example:
s/n: zzzzzzzzzxxyy
BG-20/NPT-1020 Use the s/n on the chassis
BG-30 Use the s/n inside the MCP30
BG-64/NPT-1200 Use the s/n inside the MCP64)

Login

Select the type of MXC to connect


and type the default IP address of
the equipment

Reset the NE

Power on the element or press the RESET button


Note the MXC/MCP orange LED will flash

Press Get to upload the element
