Install SIMTOOLS and FORMLIST for Excel 2007 and Later Versions

1. SIMTOOLS and FORMLIST: available at http://home.uchicago.edu/~rmyerson/addins.htm


2. Download <SIMTOOLS.XLA> and <FORMLIST.XLA> from the website for Excel 2007
and later versions.

3. Save these two files in the macro library directory of your Microsoft Office.

The path of the library directory may vary for different computers, and a sample path is
given as follows:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\Library
Regardless of the directory path, please note that these two files need to be saved in the
same place as other Excel Macros such as <SOLVER> and <Analysis>, as shown in
the picture below.

Start Excel; Click Drop Down Menu: Customize Quick Access Toolbar; Choose More Commands
menu

5. Select Add-Ins from the left list of the pop out window; then click Go button at
the bottom

6. Check Formula List and Simulation Tools in the pop out window then click
OK button.

7. Click Add-Ins menu, and you will see the Formula List and SimTools, which
indicates that they have been installed successfully.
