The memo provides an update on a progress report comparing green space in Midtown Detroit, MI to community health. The scope has changed to only cover Midtown Detroit as there is readily available data. Secondary research including online resources and journals is complete. Upcoming work includes primary research through community outreach, surveys and interviews, followed by statistical analysis and a first draft, with the goal of submitting the final report on schedule. The recommendation is to stay on task and follow the updated timetable.

From: Rebecca Scott
Subject: Comparing Green Space in Midtown Detroit, MI to the Health
of the Community
Date: November 8th, 2016
Introduction
The subject has changed to Comparing Green Space in Midtown
Detroit, MI to the Health of the Community. The original scope of the
project was to cover Detroit, MI and Milwaukee, WI and comparing the
amount of green space to the health of the communities. The subject
changing to only covering green space and health in Midtown Detroit
because its much more tangible and there is data readily availible.
Facts and Discussion:
Past Work
The timetable has been updated to switch secondary research and
primary research. Secondary research including internet, book,
academic journals, and scientific research have been conducted
already.
Future Work
Future work to be conducted includes primary research methods,
statistical analysis of data and personal research, first completion of
the draft, and the final submission. I am on track with the updated
timetable.
Conclusions
The final conclusion to be made is that the project is currently on track
to completion. Primary research is the next, followed by statistical
analysis of data and research.
Recommendations
The only recommendation to be made on this project is to stay on task
and to continue to follow the timetable. I will not adjust the timetable
anymore and will stick to the original plan.
