Standard: Standard Four: Instructional Planning & Strategies- Teachers shall understand
instructional planning, design long- and short- term plans based upon knowledge of subject
matter, students, community, and curriculum goals, and shall employ a variety of
developmentally appropriate strategies in order to promote critical thinking, problem solving and
the performance skills of all learners.

I am placing Observation 3: Planning under Standard Four- Instructional Planning & Strategies
for evidence of continued mastery. The planning of the lesson plans and actives for the classroom
should be focused around the development of students and to promote critical thinking. The
teachers plans should be instructed based on the environment around them and the curriculum.
