PROFILE: A Computer Science student who is ambitious to find a trainee position within a software
and/or web-development company. Self-taught in computer programming principles before university, a
very studious individual who is able to work on his own initiative or excel as part of a group and has
achieved consistently high results in every assignment during the first year. Primarily focuses on C#, Java
and SQL however does have an active interest in web-based languages such as PHP, JavaScript and
HTML/CSS.

Working individually to program a Lego robot (in Java using the Lejos library) to fulfill a series of
different navigational challenges automatically. In addition design an advanced additional challenge
unique to myself using more advanced Java programming techniques.

Voluntary Project: HTML/CSS/PHP Web Development


Working individually to redesign and develop the website for a local company whose website had
long loading times, high instability and poor design, using the standard HTML and CSS methods
along with some PHP and JavaScript to create dynamic content.

customers and agents regarding limousine hire, both inbound and outbound.

Worked primarily as a cashier but undertook other roles as and when it was necessary, such as
restocking and cleaning. Daily responsibilities were to build customer rapport, scan stock and
