47 QM-006 Dynamic Modification Rule

This document describes how to create a dynamic modification rule in SAP and assign it to a sampling procedure. It provides step-by-step instructions for setting up the dynamic modification rule header data, defining inspection stages and criteria for stage changes, and linking the rule to a sampling procedure to define the allowed relationships between materials/vendors and inspection severity levels. The dynamic modification rule defines the inspection stages a lot must pass through and allows configuring skip stages and automatic stage changes based on the number of inspections or rejections.

Dynamic Modification Rule

Purpose
This manual describes how to create a dynamic modification rule and assign that to a
sampling procedure.
Scope
This manual describes the creation of dynamic modification rule and assignment to sampling
procedure only. Creating a sampling procedure is explained separately.

Overview
Dynamic modification rules are QM basic data at INABB level.
In Dynamic modification rule you define the stages of inspection which an inspection lot has to
follow for every material/vendor combination. The dynamic modification rule has to be
assigned to a sampling procedure with sampling scheme. The inspection severity in the
dynamic modification rule should be available in sampling scheme also.

Event
Only when you want a new dynamic modification rule.

Nashik. If the plants within Nashik want to identify their own Modification rules, then use the
description field in the next screen. The same naming convention is applicable to Sampling
scheme and Sampling procedure also.
