Month of Code
@Edenwood M.S.

Introduction
Students need to learn how to program early in life to gain a deeper and more complete
understanding of the logic and advanced thinking behind programming. We all know the
future of our world is digital and employers are desperately seeking potential employees
with coding skills and rewarding them with high salaries. 1 Canada will need 182 000
people to fill IT positions by the time our students graduate secondary school otherwise
these jobs will be outsourced to other countries.2 Edenwood will NOT embark on Hour
of Code but a MONTH of code.
