Eastern Cape to meet urgent short
-term for Coega

two new
Lines areinplanned:

A 765kV Transmission Line between the Zeus Substation, near Standerton (Mpumalanga)
Mercury Substation near Vierfontein (FreeState);
A 765kV Transmission Line between the Zeus Substation and the Perseus Substation near
Dealesville (Free State).

Separate environmental studies will be conducted for each options.
