Abstract This paper provides a comprehensive list of
books, reports, workshops and technical papers related to
voltage stability and security.
Introduction

During the past fifteen years, there has been a continually

increasing interest and investigation into voltage instability and collapse. As this interest has grown, the literature
has also grown. The first paper related to voltage instability appeared in ref [276]. Venikov [275] proposed the
first criteria for detecting the point of voltage collapse.
Even though voltage instability is known for long time,
active work involving voltage stability started in 80s.
The references are divided into five groups. First, three
groups contain the information on books [l-31, reports
[4-211 and workshops [22-261 related to voltage stability.
Group four lists in chronological order the papers [272761 directly related to voltage stability. Group five contains papers [277-2861 that describe power system failures
related to voltage problems. Group six contains papers
[287-3081 that are related to voltage security.
