I am writing to highly recommend Amanda Patterson for a nursing position in your facility. I had the pleasure of teaching Amanda at Tucson Medical Center during her adult medical/surgical rotation during the Fall 2015 semester. Amanda is a very hardworking student who strives for success. She is a very self-motivated and prover herself a dependable student. As an academic, Amandas grades were consistently top notch. Her attention to detail was evident in her work. Amanda also has pursued a dual degree. In addition to dedicating herself to nursing, she also is fluent in Spanish with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish. She is particularly adept with medical translations. As a professional, Amanda was always on time, dressed professionally, and ready to care for her patients and their families to the best of her ability. Amanda was able to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of patients in our short time together. Her ability to establish rapport with the patients, families and visitors will aid her greatly in her future career. Amanda was able to partake in two alternative experiences while under my watch. These took place in the outpatient wound clinic and the adult emergency department. Both of these experiences helped to broaden Amandas skills and excitement. She was able to take valuable information from both of these areas, and apply it to her studies and helped to deepen her understanding of holistic patient care. I am most impressed by Amanda because she is not only self-directed with a sound skill and knowledge base, but she is also never afraid to ask questions when she encounters a task or question in which she needs help. In my experience, the ability to stop and ask questions reveals a student who will endeavor to consistently provide the best care. Amanda will be a great asset to your facility. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information. Regards,
