PDP:

(In progress)

I will provide students to group work activities to develop speaking skills

and to be more social in class in my year four semester two.

Objective:
-

Develop students relationship and understand the concept through

discussion (Cmu.N.D).
Developing multiple skills such as leadership, listening and
motivating. Also, it helps to identify the mistakes and strength
(University of Leicester. N.D).
Encourage quite students to share their ideas with his classmate
and there are involved in their own learning (Sydney.n.d).
Learning to work with other students (Weime. 2013).

I believe that students learn better when they talk to each other and that
support their social skills. Using group work is helping the students to
achieve the learning objective by helping from her group. I think student
feel more comfortable to share their ideas with her peers more than
talking to the teacher.

Competency:
-

Planning for learning

Plans tasks for the whole class, groups and individuals using
a learner-centered approach
Manages pair work, group work, individual and whole class
tasks competently.

For my lesson plan I tend to apply a group work in activities like

vocabulary, and when they finish answering I prefer them to check for
each other answering to make them feel confident about their answer.
-

Implementing and managing learning

Uses appropriate strategies to encourage and maintain

active student participation

In group work each students have to share ideas and my role is to

encourage the quit and the shy students to help her friends in the answer.
Strategy:
-

Apply group work activities.

Learning center
Check each other answers.
