Candle Light Brought by Freedom

Everyones born to shine bright with full potential


Bringing light to those who lost theirs
Because as bright as the light may shine
The strong flame may be blown out
We are only human as the saying goes
And with that we are fragile and delicate
Like a lit candle left outside a windy day
The flame flickers struggling to keep alight
We fall to temptations from our surroundings
Brought to us by our own misfortunes
We fail to keep what is important to us
And do the things we might regret
A person in distress might just do these
Probably to the point of taking drugs
To get something that last temporarily
Hiding from this harsh reality
Its our choice of action that may lead to this
Actions which only we can control
Suppressing our depression and undoing
With drugs that gets more than it gives
Is the reward better than the cost?
Will we be able to recover what was lost?
These should be asked before we take that path
As its a path one might find hard to leave
With all these questions in mind
A reasonable answer could be derived
We live by our actions and decisions
To be wise to face the problems than to hide from it
Living through those tough times,
Able to solve these problems one by one
Its several times better than being controlled
