Adding a group

Login to oracle

Select SAGT_EAM_SUPER_USER
Select Asset Groups

Press F11 to open the query mode


o Enter the asset group name and press Ctrl+F11 to run the query
o Press F4 for exit

If the name is not already exists, enter a description and set template to @Asset
Group and set serial generation to At receipt or you can use Predefined instead of
at receipt, and fill starting prefix and starting number.

Once you save an asset group, you can`t undo it, so double check when entering the data.
Save

Adding an asset number

Open asset numbers

Press F11 to open the query mode


o Enter the asset name and press Ctrl+F11 to run the query
o Press F4 for exit
If similar record need to be added, you can keep the record open and click on New
Press Shift+F5 to grab the similar record from the opened form to new form. Repeat the
process until all the necessary fields are filled. Change the text accordingly.
Keep in mind that fields appear on Yellow background are mandatory, and fields appear
on White background are not mandatory.
If you need to retrieve the work history of the particular asset, put a tick on the
Operation Log Enabled feature.
Similarly you can make an asset Inactive if the asset is no longer in operation or use.
Save

Special Case

When adding a Virtual Asset number, fill the asset number and asset group with the
same name (Group has to be created prior to this operation) and leave the parent asset
number field Empty.

Adding an Activity

Go to Activities select master activities.

Enter maintenance plan name in to both Item & Description fields.

Go to Tools select copy from


Select @Activity as the template.

Apply Done.
Save
Select Organization Assignment tab and put a tick assigned field.

Save

Activity Association

Go to Activities Activity Association.

Find the same activity as you entered before in the master activities and select it.

Select the corresponding asset group and asset number to the particular maintenance
plan.

Save
Now you can put work orders under the newly added maintenance plan.

Asset Hierarchy

Login to Oracle
Select Maintenance Super User
Go to Home Assets Simple Search
Enter the asset number, (Ex: Prime Movers) and Select it.
Change View mode to Hierarchy and click on GO.
Now you can view the asset hierarchy of the particular asset you, selected.

Routing

Login to Oracle.
Select SAGT_EAM_SUPER_USER
Go to Setup Routing Standard Operations
Click on NEW
Fill code, description, department, shutdown type
Do until all the maintenance steps are added.
Save and Close the form.
Go to Activities Maintenance Routing
Select the maintenance plan (plan had to be added prior to this operation, follow
Adding an activity + Activity Association).
Select the correct code numbers, as you entered before.
Save
Click on Routing Network
Click on the PLUG button, and make connections as necessary.
o i.e. draw arrows as the process happens
Now you can create work orders
