Directions: Select ONE of the following activities to complete. This is due on
Thursday November 17th at the beginning of class! We will present these during class.

That. Comic strip must show someone being asked to use drugs and their use of proper refusal skills. Must show assertiveness and refusal skills. Must include at least 6 comic strip cells. Use at least one piece of factual information about the drug being offered in the refusal reasoning. Give at least 2 consequences for using drugs in the refusal reasoning.
Write a poem about the consequences of a
drug and recite it to the class.
At least 20 lines long about the
negative effects and consequences of the drug. Include at least 4 complete, accurate facts and/or statistics. Use the facts to show relationships among ideas and concepts. Turn in a typed copy, double-spaced with Times New Roman 12 point font. Cite at least one current, reliable source at the bottom or on the back o the poem. Must recite poem or rap to class. Rhyming is optional, but must flow smoothly.
