PLACEMENT
MACHINE BODY
When placing your machine you should choose a solid and properly levelled pavement. After that, be sure
to align level and fix properly the all parts of the machine to the ground.
-8-
ATTENTION - discharge table opens and closes very often, keep area free of obstacles
POWER SUPPLY
Your machine is supplied with 380 V, 50 Hz
The supply lines are L1, L2, L3 + N + PE terminals (depending on the models)
When installing the machine make sure it is properly grounded for a better protection
of the operating personnel.
The connection to the electric net, MUST be performed by a certified electrician.
To check if the electric connection is properly made: Turn on the machine ON, (make sure
emergency switches are deactivated), go to manual mode on the digital control, and try to move any

Control
station
This area is responsible for pushing the wire and feed the forming station.
If the material gets out of position or finishes in decoiller, sensor (A) will stop the machine.
Replace wire roll and restart the production.
For hydraulic motor (B) to have traction, guide rolls (C) must be perfectly adjusted, every time we
change wire thickness, rolls must be adjusted (D).

Horizontal straightening
rolls adjustment (A1)
This area is responsible for the straightening of the wire in both directions, horizontal and vertical.
This is very important step, since all waving effect will be removed before the spring production.
For a perfect straightening, guide rolls (A and B) must be perfectly adjusted, every time we
change wire thickness, rolls must be adjusted (A1 and B1).
This area is responsible for pushing the straightened wire and feed the spring forming station
(head). For hydraulic motor (B) to have traction, guide rolls (C) must be perfectly adjusted, every time we
change wire thickness, rolls must be adjusted (D).
- 12 -

Depending if we are producing left or right springs, we need to adjust wire for top or bottom
forming heads.
Centre forming head (C) can be adjusted to turn the wire up or down. In the example its turning
up. than conformation continues by the action of the top forming head (B1).
When programmed length achieved, forming stops and top cutting station (A1) performs the cut

MAINTENANCE
For a High performance and durability of the machine, please respect the follow steps of maintenance
Two times per week (or every 20h of work), Clean and lubricate the moving elements of the machine.
Every month: Check the level of the hydraulic oil and see if there is leakage of oil on the hydraulic circuit;
Check the screws on the body of the machine.
Every year: (or every 1500h of work) change the hydraulic oil and filter.
Every two years: (or every 3000h of work) change bending chain
The access to all this elements is made by removing the lateral panels.
NOTE:
- LUBRIFICATING OIL- NUTO 46
- HYDRAULIC OIL- GALP HIDROLEP 46
- GREASE- ESSO TL
ATTENTION: all of the operations below indicated must be performed with the machine disconnected
from the power supply.
CLEANING
All parts of the machine should be carefully cleaned. Every week a deep cleaning should be made
preventing dust to get into the mechanisms: dust deteriorates these elements and therefore its
functioning.
ELECTRIC MAINTENANCE
Every six months, electric boards and switches of the engine should be carefully cleaned with a dry brush
or blown. All electric plugs should be checked and tightened firmly.

can answer your demand correctly. Please consult the parts list, for your specific machine.
SAFETY PROCEDURES
In order to operate this machine according to safety and health essential rules operators, people
responsible for installation, operation, maintenance and service of the machine should read and follow the
procedures below mentioned In order to protect the personnel and the equipment from injury or damage.
1. Make sure you understand the instructions and program manuals.
2. Cleaning the movable components of the machine, as well as its maintenance, should be performed
always with the machine unplugged from its power supply;
3. Do not open the electric switchboard with the machine turn on; turn off the main switch before
cleaning the machine and its accessories;
4. Operators should keep their hands away from the tools or any moving part, when the machine is
operating;
5. For better safety conditions special shoes are to be used (steel toe cap);
6. Do not touch electric high voltage connections, such as transformers, motors, junction boxes nor
switches or electric contacts with wet hands;
7. In the event of a power failure, turn the main switch off immediately;
8. The position of the emergency stop buttons should be so well known that it can be activated without
looking at it;
9. Make sure it is possible to move freely around the machine and associated equipment - the floor
around it should also be kept dry and clean and the surrounding area well illuminated in such a way
that work can be performed safely;
10. Personnel, tools or materials must not be present or placed in the sweep area of the tube, considered
the cutting length of tube +1 meter in bending, rotating and longitudinal-feed movements;
11. Do not change the parameters or other pneumatic, electrical or hydraulic settings;
12. All electrical cables must be well protected from becoming damaged. Always check their insulation.
Do not dirty, scratch or remove the warning signs;
13. Check safety equipment, such as safety covers, emergency stop button, safety mats, railing, light
booms and ramps, warning signs, hydraulic hoses and connections against damage and abrasion or
