Printing List & Examples

Technology Education

Objective:
We are surrounded by hundreds of printed items every second of our lives.
With the knowledge of what those printed items are, we can gain an
appreciation for them, rather than take them for granted. By understanding
where each of the printing examples originated, we will understand a little
more about each one of those printing process.
Expectation:
Research each one of the four major printing methods to find five items,
which are printed from each method. You should have twenty items in list
form, five from each of the four printing methods below. You will need two
physical examples from each of the four printing methods to bring to class.
Printing Methods:
Intaglio Printing

Gravure Printing

Flexography

Porous Printing

Screen Printing

Relief Printing

Planography

Lithography

The bolded items above are the printing methods that you need
examples for.
