    Weir A type Manual Diaphragm valves:

    1. Size: 4NPS 150# pressure rating (PN #10)


    2. End connections: Raised face Flanged end; drilled to ANSI B 16.5 150lbs
    rating
    3. MOC:
    a. Body: A216 Gr WCB or A351 CF3 as per item description
    b. Bonnet: Cast Iron or equivalent
    c. Stem: SA276 SS410
    d. Diaphragm: Natural rubber / Neoprene/EPDM or superior with Nylon
    reinforced.
    4. Bonnet type: Screwed / Button type
    5. Condition of valve: in sunlight, dry, normally closed, Horizontal pipe
    6. Compressor shall support the diaphragm in open and close conditions.
    7. Standards
    a. Design standard: BS5156 / MSS-SP-88
    b. Testing standards: API 598 / BS6755-1
    8. Application:
    a. Helium gas and Raw water with abrasives
    b. Temperature: ambient; up to 800C
    c. Pressure: 10kg/cm2
    9. Supplier shall indicate in his offer
    a. Make and model of product:

    c. Attachments of drawing & catalogue: Drawing shall have cross
    sectional view, MOC, design & testing standards and values,
    dimensions, description in standard format.
    10.Inspection Criteria:
    Pre-dispatch inspection may be involved based on technical
    evaluation of product; payment terms etc. however bidder shall
    indicate testing charges separately. If not, it will be considered as
    included in unit rate.
    a. Raw material identification: review of co-relatable material test
    certificate for mechanical and chemical properties, IGC test report
    for SS body, for which body shall have embedded heat/Lot no. in
    casting itself for co-relating.
    b. Dimensional and Visual inspection: the valve assembly will be
    tested for dimensions confirming approved drawing.
    c. Functional testing: pressure testing for body and seat as per above
    standard and approved QAP shall be done and the same will be
    witnessed by xxxx-QA.
    d. All other tests specified as mandatory in relevant standards shall be
    done.
    e. Quality Assurance Plan with above and drawing shall be submitted
    for our review and approval.
    11.PQ Criteria: Nil
