GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED FOR INTERVIEW ON
09.04.2015 & 10.04.2015 FOR THE POST OF SCIENTIST/ENGINEER-SC CHEMICAL ENGINEERING (ADVT. NO. 286, POST NO. 1267) 1. You are eligible to attend the interview only if you fulfil the following conditions: a. B.E/B. Tech or equivalent in Chemical Engg. in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale. b. Age limit: 35 years as on 01.09.2014 2. You are required to duly fill-in the downloaded BIODATA FORMAT in all respects and produce the ORIGINAL and selfattested copies of Certificates, mark lists and testimonials in respect of your qualifications, experience, if any & age without which you will not be allowed to attend the interview. 3. You may note that any request for change of date of interview will not be entertained. 4. Also note that you may have to stay for the next day also, if required, at your own expenses. 5. Outstation candidates who appear for the interview will be reimbursed to and fro sleeper class rail fare by shortest route between the place mentioned in the web application and the place of interview (Thiruvananthapuram) on production of proof of travel. In case of travel by bus, the actual fare paid or second-class train fare, whichever is less will be reimbursed. If you travel by bus, you have to produce the bus ticket(s) and if you travel by train, you have to furnish the train ticket(s). 6. If you travel from a place other than the one already declared in the web application, TA will be paid from the actual place of journey or from the place declared in the web application, whichever is the shortest. Any change in the place of residence may please be intimated well in advance. You will not be paid TA from the changed address, unless it is intimated in writing [either by letter/fax/e-mail] well in advance. 7. If you are at present an employee of a Government/Semi Government Organisation/Autonomous or Public Sector Undertaking/Private Organisation aided by Government, please produce a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from your present employer at the time of interview, without which you will not be interviewed and no travelling allowance will be paid. 8. It may please be noted that you need to attend the interview, only if you possess the required
qualification, age etc., as mentioned in the advertisement and could produce the Original Certificates in proof at the time of interview. In case it is found that any information furnished in your web application is wrong, your candidature will not be considered for the interview and no TA will be paid. 9.
