ZentyalrunsontopofUbuntuServersoitwillworkonthesamehardware.Youcantakealookatthe
Ubuntucertifiedhardwarepageformoreinformation.TherearetwowaystoinstallZentyal:
UsingZentyalinstallerthatyoucandownloadfromtheprojectwebsite.Thisistherecommended
choice,itincludesallpackagedependenciesforofflineinstallandalsomakessomecustom
configuration.
InstallontopofaworkingUbuntuServer,youcanfinddetailedinfoandURLfortherepositoryinthe
ZentyalInstallationGuide.

IfyouinstallZentyalusingtheinstalleryouwillseethisscreenwhenbootingfromCDROManda
coupleofwizardswillguideyouthroughtheprocess.Youcanchoosedefaultsettingsinallofthem.
Zentyalprovidesawebadministrationinterface,aftertheinstallationaFirefoxbrowserwillshowup
givingyouaccesstoit(youcanalsoaccessZentyalfromanyclientbrowsertyping:

Nowyoucanselectthedesiredpackagestoinstall,forthistutorialyoushouldinstalltheGateway

ZentyalServerisnowinstalled.Byfollowingthenextstepsyouwillconfigureeachmodule.

onefortheinternalnetwork.ZentyalwillbalancetrafficbetweenthetwoInternetconnections.
