Mission and objectives are clearly communicated to the staffs of BIMS and is reviewed
annually to ensure it remains relevant and can translate intentions into outcomes.
Institution has in place a properly constituted, relevant and appropriate governing body
that is authorised to formulate, monitor and evaluate policies.
The governing structure has representation from staff and student populations.
Institution has a system of continuous quality assurance that supports the achievement
of the objectives.
Institution has an Academic Committee that has the authority to set, maintain and assure
academic standards. This comprises of the Executive Chairman, Principal and Head of
both Academic and Operations Departments, and Head of BBA Program.
Admission policies are clearly elaborated, documented and publicised, and the institution
adheres to the same.
Institution has in place a rigorous and appropriate assessment regime to test student
achievement.
The University College has the appropriate qualified and experienced staff to deliver
programmes.
Opportunities are provided for faculty members to ensure the development of their
knowledge through participation in training and research.
Institution has library of adequate size and resources that is relevant and appropriate for
programmes offered.
Institution should have an adequate number and type of audio-visual equipment and
necessary supplies for effective delivery of learning.
Financial Resources
Academic planning and related decisions are supported with adequate resource
allocations.
The institution has effective and appropriate financial management policies and
procedures that reflect best practices.
Institution has a Strategic Plan that results from consultation with stakeholders and is
linked to available resources.
Institution subjects itself to external reviews at regular intervals and there is evidence
that the strategic plan is being implemented.
