Type user name and password and click the LOGON button to
access the Web CIT system, as shown in Figure 5.
The PC is connected with the destination IDU with a straight Ethernet cable.
Context
The DHCP service is enabled for IDU upon delivery, and user can
obtain the IP address of IDU with that feature.

2. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box.

8. Type ipconfig /all and press Enter key. The command line
window displays the IP address of the destination IDU, as
shown in Figure 12.

1. In the left menu, click Maintenance > System > Scan Frequency to set the start scanning frequency, the end scanning
frequency, and the scanning step, and click Apply, as shown
in Figure 25.

3. The system automatically refreshes the interface, and the frequency scanning result is displayed in the result list in the sequence from the strongest signal to the weakest signal, as
shown in Figure 27. Frequency scanning can be stopped by
clicking STOP.

3. Select transmitting power of ODU from the drop-down list box
of Tx Power (dBm) on the right part of the configuration interface, as shown in Figure 30.

Note:
For S400, if you want to modify Tx Power, Tx Status must be
Unmute.
For S500 without 1+1 protection, if you want to modify Tx
Power, Tx Status must be Unmute.
For S500 with 1+1 protection, if you want to modify Tx Power
of one ODU, you should change Tx Power of both ODU same
time.
4. Click the Apply button to complete the transmitting power configuration.

Note:
To implement handover between different switch level, IDU must
be rebooted. For both Mode 2(L3) and Mode 1(L2), the IP address of the PC where user performs management operations and
IP address of the directly connected IDU must be in the same network segment. For Mode 2(L3), the two IDUs of the two one-hop
equipments must be in different network segments respectively.

Context
VLAN is short for Virtual Local Area Network. The VLAN involved in
this configuration operation is a port-based VLAN. Only the ports
assigned with the same VLAN ID can communicate with each other.

The port mirror function allows user to set a port as the mirror
port, and all data frames flowing through one or several specified
ports can be duplicated to this mirror port for monitoring.

external alarm input/output.

the active status from the Active Status drop-down list box,

When Line Status is consistent with Active Status, the corresponding external alarm will be reported. User can set the
alarm description and alarm severity level.
3. Click the Apply button to complete the configuration.
